A new sefer torah was welcomed to the Israel Henry Beren Campus, donated by Meredith Grossman, Susan, Henry and Tali Zilberman, in memory of Gregg Grossman, z”l.

At the dedication, a celebration of song and dance, Rabbi Riskin stressed the importance of absorbing the Torah’s essence and communicating it to Jews all over the world. “The Torah is more than just its black-inked letters,” he said. “The white parchment on which it is written embodies its own all-encompassing message which must be incorporated into our everyday lives.”
